As a Data Scientist within Sweden Operations in Södertälje, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our operations through cutting-edge analytics and advanced data science solutions. You will join a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment, working alongside expert teams across the company to fuel fact-based decision-making and empower process optimization throughout our value chain.

What You'll Do

The Data, Analytics & AI team is integral to the Strategy & Performance function in Sweden Operations. You will work side by side with other data scientists, analysts, and technology experts, delivering insights and developing innovative data-driven solutions that optimize business processes and support strategic projects. Our analytics initiatives span Inbound, Manufacturing, Quality, Outbound, and critical support functions such as Maintenance, Supply, and Production Planning.

• In this role, you will: Coordinate the implementation of innovative modelling solutions, integrating complex data from multiple sources and modalities to generate actionable insights.
• Translate unstructured business challenges into analytically tractable problems, applying state-of-the-art machine learning and statistical models.
• Develop and deploy predictive models and computational methods that guide decision-making and operational improvements.
• Act as a subject-matter expert by providing training and advisory services, and ensuring best practices in data science and analytics across Sweden Operations.
• Communicate data-driven insights clearly and objectively, influencing partners and shaping impactful solutions.
• Maintain robust, production-grade data science workflows, ensuring compliance, quality, and sustained business value.
• Leverage generative AI, large language models, and advanced ML to automate processes, enhance data insights, and solve complex business problems.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in operations research, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Proven experience with Python and advanced machine learning methods, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, generative AI such as large language models, and computer vision models
• Demonstrated proficiency across the full data science workflow
• Strong skills in manipulating and analyzing high-dimensional datasets, drawing actionable conclusions, and communicating technical results or requirements to business stakeholders in business-friendly language
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written

Desirable Experience

• Experience with AWS cloud platform & Snowflake
• Familiarity with software development tools, including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
• Experience working in multinational or digitally mature organizations
• Proficiency in Power BI, Dash, Tableau
• Swedish language skills
